PROJECT NAME:     Highway 412 Median Improvements

 The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting sealed bids for Highway 412 Median Improvements until 2:00 pm CST on September 23^rd, 2022 at the City Community Development Building, 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  All interested parties may obtain complete construction plans and bid specifications from Brandy Rowbotham, at the address listed above upon the payment of ($35).  Partial sets are not available.  Electronic (pdf) files may be obtained at no cost by emailing a request to .  Sealed bids shall be hand delivered to Brandy Rowbotham at 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; or mailed to Brandy Rowbotham at P.O. Box 80, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761, in an envelope marked as follows: “Sealed Bid Enclosed – Highway 412 Median Improvements”.  The sealed bids must be received by Brandy Rowbotham prior to the above date and time.

The scope of work includes the removal of the existing greenspace along the medians of Highway 412 from State Line Road to Dogwood Street. Construction will involve planting approximately 46 trees along the median with the necessary topsoil and landscaping cover. The newly planted greenspace area will be constructed with a two-foot dyed and stamped concrete border. 

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for all interested bidders on Friday, September 9^th, 2022 at 2:00 pm, in the conference room of the Community Development Building.  All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend.                                                                                                    

In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold such Contractor's and Business Licenses as required by State statutes and the Rules and Regulations of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board.   

The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
