Residential Customers

Use of the Transfer Station will be permitted for the disposal of household rubbish and trash at a charge of $1.00 per bag for current residential customers.

Customers are required to show evidence by paid receipt that they are a current residential customer of the city.

Payment must be made in advance at the Transfer Station before any trash or rubbish is accepted.

During designated "Clean-Up Week" the additional fee is waived for current residential customers.

Non-residential Customers

Customers not showing evidence that they are a current residential customer residing within the city shall be charged $2.00 per bag.

Pick Up a Recycling Container Today

Recycling containers are now available for pick up from the Transfer Station at 1108 East Ashley. There is no charge for the container. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to noon. Call 479-524-8512 for more information.

Help Keep Our Collectors Safe

Never put your needles, pens or lancets in city recycling. Never put loose sharps in the garbage.

You can put used needles, pens and lancets in a household container such as a laundry detergent bottle with a screw-top lid in the garbage. Please make sure the top is closed tightly!

Do not place sharps in containers with a biohazard label on the outside of the container in household garbage. Biohazard material is typically not allowed in household trash.
