On Tuesday, November 7 at 8 AM, the Outdoor Emergency System underwent scheduled maintenance. During a system reboot by our crews, the sirens were briefly activated, causing some confusion. We apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused. Any future testing will be preceded by advance notifications before activation.
Furthermore, we want to remind you that the city conducts a monthly test on all Outdoor Warning Systems. Weather permitting, this testing occurs on the first Monday of each month. During the test, you will hear three sets of Hi-Lo tones followed by the "Testing Message" pattern, which will repeat three times.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the Outdoor Warning System, please feel free to reach out to the Siloam Springs Fire Department at 479-524-3103 or via email at firedepartment@siloamsprings.com. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
