Tell us about yourself.
I relocated to NWA last year from the West Coast, and I am loving being here! My favorite things are coffee, my dogs, and exploring this beautiful state!

Tell us about your new role.
I am the Grant Coordinator, which means I research and apply for grants that would benefit the city, and I assist in managing and reporting how funds are spent.

What are you looking forward to in your new position?
I am looking forward to learning new things and contributing to this beautiful city!

What inspired you to apply to work for the City of Siloam Springs?
I managed grants as part of my previous job, and I found it interesting and exciting. When I saw the city was hiring for this position, I jumped at my chance to join the world of grant management.

Welcome to Siloam Springs! What are you enjoying about the city?
Everyone I have met here has been so kind and welcoming. I’m so grateful to be part of this fantastic team.

Here are some fun questions!

Do you have a favorite book or movie?
I love all of Dan Brown’s books because he writes the perfect blend of science, adventure, and romance. I love rom-com movies because I think movies should make us feel good.

Do you have any pets?
I have two dogs: a golden retriever named Oliver and a husky/shepherd mix named Wilber. We also have six chickens!

What is your favorite travel destination, and why?
My favorite place to visit is St. Pete Beach in Florida, but I dream of traveling to Greece!

What is your go-to comfort food or favorite cuisine?
I consider myself a foodie and I enjoy trying new things the best! For comfort food, I like to go back to the basics: pizza, mac ‘n cheese, and burgers all hit the spot!

Outside of work, what activities do you enjoy?
I love to cook and bake.
