We have recently received instructions from our banking institutions to only accept checks written in black or blue ink. This measure has been put in place to guarantee enhanced visibility and durability, especially during the scanning and photocopying processes, which are vital for seamless banking operations.
Henceforth, all checks issued to the city, including those for every department, must be filled out using standard blue or black ink exclusively. We kindly remind you that checks filled out with gel, neon, or any other colored ink will not be processed.
