[ARCHIVED] Parks and Recreation Gears Up for Annual Turkey Trot 5k

Get your running shoes ready and join fellow runners for the highly anticipated Turkey Trot 5k scheduled to take place on November 18, 2023. Registration is now officially open, and participants can secure their spots by visiting

Hosted by the Siloam Springs Parks and Recreation, the Turkey Trot is designed to provide an exhilarating and competitive experience, the 5k will be a chip-timed race, ensuring accurate and fair results for all participants.

The race fee for the 5k has been set at $25, with a reduced rate of $15 available for students. Registrations for the 5k will remain open until the evening prior to the race on November 17. Same-day registration will not be available at the race.

For those seeking a lighter challenge, the one-mile fun run offers an excellent opportunity to participate free of charge. This event is open to all, encouraging friends and families to join in the excitement.

Adding to the thrill, all race participants will automatically be entered into a raffle with the chance to win a Thanksgiving turkey, making the Turkey Trot 5k even more rewarding for attendees.
