The City of Siloam Springs is thrilled to announce the official grand opening of the WOKA Trail, a remarkable addition to the city's recreational offerings. To commemorate this momentous occasion, a Ribbon Cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, July 7 at 9:30 a.m.
The WOKA Trail, a newly constructed, paved pathway, showcases a multi-use experience, connecting Siloam Springs to the upcoming WOKA Whitewater Park, currently in its final stages of completion along the Illinois River near Watts, OK. The planning and implementation of the WOKA Trail have been made possible through the collaborative efforts of Trailblazers, with the invaluable support of the Walton Family Foundation. Their combined efforts have played a pivotal role in bringing this remarkable project to life.
Following the conclusion of the ribbon cutting ceremony, participants are invited to partake in a group ride along the trail. This exhilarating ride spans approximately 6 miles round-trip, with a noteworthy challenge— the entire return journey is uphill. Cyclists are encouraged to come adequately prepared for a rewarding and invigorating workout.
The WOKA Trail offers a host of remarkable features, including breathtaking views and shaded sections that are sure to captivate trail enthusiasts.

Location: Please park your vehicle at the designated trailhead, located just South of the Siloam Springs Water Plant, precisely at 2600 S Carl St. From there, a pleasant stroll or bike ride of approximately 1/3 mile will lead you to the site of the ribbon cutting ceremony.
