Terminal Modernization Project

A group of people dig into a pile of dirt with shovels to celebrate a ground breaking.

With a shovel in hand, Mayor Judy Nation joined Northwest Arkansas officials as they broke ground on the Terminal Modernization Project at XNA Northwest Arkansas National Airport on March 14. Mayor Nation was also in attendance with Community Development Director Don Clark as they represented Siloam Springs at the groundbreaking ceremony. 

A group of people dig into a pile of dirt with shovels to celebrate a ground breaking.“I want to thank Mr. Alex English with XNA for the invitation to attend the ceremony,” Mayor Nation said. “Having this type of facility within 20 minutes of our community is a valuable asset when trying to attract new businesses and families to live and work in Siloam Springs."

The Terminal Modernization Project is a $34 million project and a much-needed renovation to Northwest Arkansas’s commercial service airport. The terminal renovation project will modernize the outside and lobby at XNA with a sleek and efficient design.
