The 2022 General Election is November 8, 2022. Early voting begins on October 24, 2022. The early voting locations and early voting dates/times for Siloam Springs are:

The County Clerk’s Office at 707 S. Lincoln Street

 
The Siloam Springs Community Building at 110 N. Mt. Olive Street

 
ELECTION ISSUE – WARD 1
Siloam Springs residents living in Ward 1 - Its time to vote for your City Board of Director representative. Ward 1 generally consists of the Northwest quadrant of the City located west of Mt. Olive and Dawn Hill Road, and north of W. Twin Springs Street and north of the portion of Jefferson Street between S. Carl Street and S. Holly Street.

ELECTION ISSUE – ONE CENT SALES TAX SPLIT
As part of this year’s General Election, Siloam Springs residents will be asked to vote on Ordinance 22-15. This ordinance asks the voters to continue the current split of the City’s permanent one-cent city sales tax. The current split is 40% streets, 20% police, 20% fire, and 20% city general fund.

If the Ordinance fails, then the split will revert back to 80% streets and 20% city general fund creating an approximate $2,000,000 gap in annual funding for the City’s police and fire departments.

A vote for or against Ordinance 22-15 will not change the City’s sales tax rate. It will only change how the revenue received from the one-cent sales tax is allocated within the City’s budget.
