[ARCHIVED] Curbside Recycling

Man sorting recycling into truck

UPDATE:  Thank you for your patience!  Monday, August 22, 2022, both recycling trucks should be back in service.  If you ever see us using a trash truck for recycling, please know, it is still be recycled.

Recycling is a priority.

Curbside recycling is collected with two recycle trucks. Each truck covers roughly half of the daily route. Currently, half of the daily route continues to be collected with a trash truck due to one of the recycling trucks being at the dealership in Springdale for repair. The other half of the route IS being picked up with a recycle truck. We will have the truck back on its route once the problem can be diagnosed and repaired.

Even though half of our recycling is being collected with a trash truck, it is NOT being taken to the landfill. The trash truck delivers to a recycling company in Rogers that sorts the recycling.
