[ARCHIVED] COVID Vaccine Clinics This Week

flyer for vaccination clinic

Community members seeking their first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine will have three chances this week to receive them, through clinics hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Council. Clinics will take place in both Benton and Washington counties, including a Thursday clinic at the Northwest Arkansas Mall with extended evening hours.

Appointments are strongly encouraged. Walk-ins will also be accepted for first and second doses. Those coming in for a second Pfizer dose must ensure they have waited at least three weeks (21 days) between the first and second dose.

The vaccinations are free, insurance is not required and those attending the clinics will not need to provide identification or social security number to get vaccinated. Those interested in receiving a vaccine can register here https://nwacouncil.org/nwavaccines/

“We are pursuing all of the options we can to make our clinics as accessible as possible to the population of Northwest Arkansas,” said Ryan Cork, executive director of the Northwest Arkansas Council’s Health Care Transformation Division. “We are doing this for the sole purpose of helping our community.”

Volunteers are still needed for Thursday’s clinic in Fayetteville. Those interested can sign up here: https://nwacouncil.org/VACCINE-VOLUNTEER-SIGNUP/ . The sign-up page shows how many volunteers are still needed for the various assignments.

There is also a phone number people can call and leave a message if they need help registering for a Northwest Arkansas Council vaccine clinic: 479-334-2929. Someone from the clinic team will get back to them with assistance.
