During its April 6th meeting, the City’s Board of Directors re-emphasized Resolution 34-20, which the Board adopted before the Governor established the state-wide mask mandate. While the resolution does not mandate the use of masks city-wide, it does strongly encourage the wearing of facial coverings in accordance with recommendations from the Arkansas Department of Health.
the Governor’s and the Arkansas Department of Health’s recommendations, businesses may continue to require employees and/or customers to wear facial coverings on their premises. Until such time as existing mask recommendations are lifted by the Arkansas Department of Health, we ask citizens and visitors to Siloam Springs to be respectful of the rights of private business owners and to continue to take appropriate precautions to protect vulnerable individuals.
