>The State has received 227,500 doses of the vaccine and has given out 89,449 (39% of doses). Currently in the 1-A phase, health care workers, long term care residents/staff, and first responders.
> 24,700 doses designated for long term care facilities. Have given out 15.7% of those vaccines.
> Moving to a few 1-B subcategories on January 18. (70 and over, k-12 staff/employees, and higher education staff/teachers). These will be through community pharmacies. County by county approach. Could be clinics, events for vaccinations.
> School districts will drive the teacher vaccinations.
> There are over 462,000 Arkansans aged 65 and older.
> 3,209 new cases in the last 24 hours
> An increase of 168 deaths to 4,121
> 25,702 total active cases
> Results of 6358 PCR tests, 4334 antigen tests in the last 24 hours

> Vaccination plans- Arkansas Emergency Management is helping with the plan for residents.
