>Confirmed PCR cases up by 651 in the last 24 hours to a cumulative total of 100,061 confirmed PCR cases.
>27 additional hospitalizations to 676
>Probable cases- up 301 antigen cases.
>Brings both antigen and PCR to 952 new cases in the last 24 hours
>PCR 7,000 tests and Antigen 1,795 tests in last 24 hours
>Growth rate- Northeast region has 7.7% growth rate, 4.5% growth rate in NWA.
>65+ age group still has the highest growth rate
>65+ 7.9% growth rate, 45-64 age group 5.7% growth rate, 25-44 age group 4.9% growth rate, 18-24 age group 4.0 growth rate, 0-17 age group 4.8% growth rate
>Have tested 258,820 so far in October. Testing 10% of Arkansas population in October.
>Top cases by county: Pulaski 146, Benton 77, Washington 72, Craighead 66
>Hospitalizations are increasing- a good portion represented by the 65+ age group.
>We need to carefully consider bringing family together for the holidays. Please be cautious over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
>A percentage of the antigen tests were distributed to schools (and other organizations)
>Active cases in K-12 is low
>11 schools had modifications last week. This is the lowest weekly number of modifications since school began. Currently 17 active modifications.
