>Department of Health has received 12,000 antigen tests- will allow for two months of antigen testing
>Adding 139 new deaths to total COVID deaths. These are “probable” death. Probable cases are being reported. These “probable deaths” are persons diagnosed as a probable case, and then expired. Also, those who have COVID on death certificate as a contributing cause of death.
>Tested 102,808 for September 15 to date. Goal of 190,000 PCR tests with an additional goal of 10,000 antigen tests. 6% of the population is 180,000. Tested 6888 antigen tests since September 1.
>Positivity rate for PCR tests- has gone down consistently in the last month.
>Can get updates on ar.gov/covid
>6,030 active cases= 5,719 active confirmed cases, 311 active probably caes
>PCR tests- 5852; 880 antigen tests with 188 positive= 21.4% positivity rate
>479,000 K-12 students in Arkansas. Only have 574 active cases in our schools.
>Hospitalizations up by 11 to 389.
>1,003 confirmed COVID deaths
>70,125 confirmed cases, 1232 probable cases
>Added 675 recoveries to 63,415
