Governor Hutchinson 9/10/2020 COVID Press Conference 

>Will be going to a weekly update or as needed. Weekly updates will start on Tuesday.  

>Still in a public health emergency 

>Given 143 daily updates  

>Suicide prevention lifeline 1-800-273-8255. En Espanol 1-888-628-9454 

>398 new cases for cumulative total of 66,804  

>Down 19 hospitalizations to 392 

>Up 12 deaths to 940 

>Washington County- only 37 new cases. Hope that’s an indication that we’re making progress at the U  of A 

>4,900 PCR (molecular) tests, cumulative positivity rate of 8.3% 

>Active cases continue to go down.  

>Tested 4,900  

>Antigen tests- 430 in last 24 hours, 70 were positive. 15.4% positivity rate 

>Antigen tests will post antigen tests by county on ADH website 

>4,513 antigen tests performed so far this month. Results are continuously higher than PCR tests.  

>Top 4 counties: Pulaski 72, Washington 37, Jefferson 33, Craighead County  

>Mental Health is one of the top conditions coming to the surface during the pandemic 

>All school districts have submitted a plan to the Dpt. Of Education. All students will continue to have a robust education plan
