>Public School Districts – 222 active cases, 101 cumulative faculty/staff cases, 441 cumulative student cases, 544 cumulative total cases (since June 15th)
>College / Universities – 41 active cases, 15 cumulative faculty/staff cases, 90 cumulative student cases, 108 cumulative total cases (since June 15th)
> Dr. Seema- with high school football starting back up, it is important that bands also adhere to the guidance that was issued. We are hearing reports of bands not adhering to social distancing and not using face masks or the necessary covers for their wind instruments. If we do not do that, there will be consequences with infections in the bands. This is an activity that can lead to transmission of the virus. This guidance is in place to protects students and adults in that area.
>Dr. Seema – Clarification on the CDC modifications that testing recommendations for individuals that were exposed but asymptomatic. We are continuing to seek testing for those individuals that were exposed to a positive individual, whether asymptomatic or exhibiting symptoms.
