>Up 1,011 new cases to 47,028 

>Up 9 hospitalizations to 523 

>Up 6 deaths to 521 

>48,039 cases cumulative in Arkansas> 

>7,158 active cases- 53 nursing home cases, 687 correctional, 6418 community cases 

>Tested 6,224 yesterday 

>805 recoveries 

>14 counties over 20 cases= Pulaski 182 (100 in correctional), Jefferson 61, Craighead 53, Mississippi 44, Sebastian 43, Washington 41, Independence 40, Benton 32.  

>Positivity rate is over 10% 

>COVID Emergency Leave for School Employees: proposed $20M from Cares Act funding, Up to 2 weeks paid leave, available for teachers and support staff, can be used by school employees who must quarantine for COVID related reasons.  

>Executive Order- if you have a COVID related concern about going to the polls in November, you will be able to apply for an absentee ballot.  

>High School sports (in accordance with the Arkansas Activities Association) will be able to engage in contact drills next week.
