>Up 20 to 428 deaths

>Top counties: Pulaski 55, Benton 50, Mississippi 48, Sebastian 45, Washington 45, Pope 36, Faulkner 34, and more. 11 counties had over 20 cases. Means the spread is all over the State

>5,248 tests in 24 hours

>170,119 tests in July (wanted to get to 200,000 tests)

>Below the 10% positivity rate, but nearly 9%

>8.1% positivity rate in Benton County

>734 new cases- 714 in community, 20 in correctional facilities

>6565- 79 in nursing homes 225 correctional facilities6221 in community

>Recoveries- 33,188 increase of 823 from yesterday.

>Recoveries= moved past the period of isolation. Could be anywhere from 10-20 days. ADH does not follow them after that time.

>Why is there such a lag in testing results? The bulk of the testing results come from commercial labs across the nation. These labs are simply overwhelming the labs for results. Dependent on the backlog of the lab. Which lab to use is made for by each individual hospital or testing facility.

>The facial covering mandate was needed and not something we take lightly. Wearing of masks is essential to bring the virus under control.

>Still not ready to make a call on contact sports. Teams are allowed to do non-contact drills. In terms of full contact sports- we are not ready to move forward.

> Will be in Russellville 7/29/2020
