>Need effective online education in additional to in room instruction. Need better internet coverage. $10 million for WIFI access points for students across Arkansas. Will provide approximately 20,000 devices with up to 24 months of high speed unlimited data.
>Commercial labs have slowed down production- limited testing. ADH has ordered point of care testing equipment. 200 machines will start coming in next week.
>990 new cases Friday, 732 new cases Saturday, 642 new cases Sunday
>824 new cases today to 39,447 (4th highest day of new cases to date)
>Up 9 hospitalization to 489
>Up 7 to 408 deaths

>824- 814 community cases, 10 from correctional facilities
>6674- 81 cases in nursing homes, 294 cases in correctional, 6299 from the community
>164,001 tests to date in July.
>Dept will use $1million to purchase strategic stockpile of PPE for schools. This will help bridge the gap until schools can replenish their supply of PPE
>WIFI- work with carriers to make sure the devices are CIPA (Child Internet Protection Act) compliant.
>This will cover roughly 20,000 homes. There will be some households that still need assistance due to the lack of cellular network availability.
