> 7 day rolling average positivity rate is “too high” according to the Governor
Yesterday 29,733 cases, additional 564 cases in last 24 hours to 30,297
> Up 13 to 458 hospitalizations
> Up 4 to 335 deaths
> Of the 564 new cases- 78 correctional 486 in the community
> 6,439 active cases- 130 in nursing homes, 979 in correctional facilities, 5330 active community cases
> 679 recovered in the last 24 hours.
> 23,523 recovered
> Top counties: Pulaski 78, Sebastian 52, Washington 46, Benton 38, all other counties less than 20
> To date in July- 80,862.
> Overall positivity rate in State is 7.6%
> About 90% of those hospitalized from COVID-19 will have some type of continued symptoms, even though they have recovered. (Dr. Smith)
> 1% of the State’s population has had COVID-19, but this is a communicable disease. You have to attack the disease even if only 1% has been infected.
