Crime Map

Reduce crime and improve public safety. The Siloam Springs Police Department reports information via LexisNexis's public crime map, Community Crime Map, providing transparency in order to reduce crime and improve public safety. Crime mapping helps you develop a better idea of the crime activity in your area so you can make more informed decisions about how to stay safe.

The Community Crime Map goes beyond crime mapping. You can set up automatic alerts about recent crime activity in your neighborhood as well as help us fight crime by providing anonymous tips. Community Crime Map empowers you to make better decisions about crime by putting the same technology we use to analyze and interpret crime activity into your hands.

How does it work? Our department maintains detailed records about the incidents that occur in our jurisdiction. When an incident happens, an officer responds, and completes a report with information about the event including the location, people involved, related vehicles and other useful information. Community Crime Map takes this data, cleans it to protect victim privacy, and displays it to the public so you can be aware of the events that occur in their area and take action to stay safe.
