Parks and Recreation

We strive to help visitors and residents of Siloam Springs enjoy their time with family, friends, and nature.  We hope you enjoy our parks, walking trails, and recreational services. 

Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  We are located at 120 South Mt. Olive.  Please stop by or call (479) 524-5779 for more information.

Each year, we offer sporting activities for children and adults, as well as various special events throughout the year.  Please check our website regularly for the most current schedules and registration information.

Daddy/Daughter Dance 

Mark your calendars for the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance.

This evening of fun is $15.00 for one dad and up to two daughters; additional daughters at $5.00.

There WILL NOT be ticket sales at the door, so please purchase your tickets in advance.

Dances will be held in the Community Building at 110 North Mt. Olive Street.

To register for the event, please visit the Parks & Recreation office at 120 South Mt. Olive Street before 5:00 PM Friday, February 6th.

Zumba classes will not be held the week of January 19th, , they will resume on January 27th.

Siloam Springs Kayak Park

The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is a nearly $2 million investment from the Walton Family Foundation. It offers 600 feet of engineered river, which expanded and created two distinct rapids. There are also fully accessible paved trails along the Illinois River, picnic tables, a climbing boulder for kids, changing rooms and a family swim area with riverside seating.

Directions to the SSKP

From Highway 412 in Siloam Springs, take Lincoln Street (Highway 59 South) south 1.9 miles to Devor Road. Take a left on Devor Road and travel .4 miles to Fisher Ford Road. Turn right on Fisher Ford Road and follow it all the way to the park.
