Ask the Librarian a Question

Need a brief answer to a factual question, such as the definition of a word?
You can receive the answer from the convenience of your home or office
by submitting your reference question by e-mail. We will reply within two or three business days with the answer, to the e-mail address you provide.  Our staff can provide answers to:

• Requests for factual information
• Policy and procedural questions
• In general, questions that can be answered by Who, What, Where, When, or How.

We cannot answer:

• Legal, medical, or other questions that would require us to interpret answers.

Please include the following information:

• Your name
• Your e-mail address
• Your home or work phone number

Please put Reference in the subject line of the message if possible and give us
as much detail as you feel your question requires. Let us know where you have already looked so we do not duplicate your efforts. It would also be helpful if
you let us know whether you need the information for a school report, etc.
