Dogwood Springs Trail - Bob Henry Park

Chalk-It-Up is a free event for children of all ages who are interested in art.  Activities planned include sidewalk chalk, card making, Play-Doh, making bead jewelry and two Caricaturists.

The small white pavilion located in Twin Springs Park next to the Hoffman building will be undergoing restoration work for the next two weeks.

The large spiral slide located at the Bob Henry Park playground is damaged.  A replacement slide has been delivered and will be installed within the next two weeks.

4th Annual Tailwaggers 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

FALL CLEAN UP WEEK - 9/29/14 - 10/3/14


Fall Cleanup Week has been set for September 29 – October 3, 2014.  Cleanup items need to be placed by the curb no sooner than Saturday, September 27th, and no later than 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29th.  Acceptable items include: appliances, furniture, mattresses, up to 4 used tires (without rims), etc… will be collected curbside.  Please bag or box all items possible.

Paints, chemicals, fertilizers, household cleaners, batteries, oils, and fluorescent light bulbs must be taken to the Transfer Station at 1108 E. Ashley on Friday, October 3rd from 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.  There will be a $5.00 charge per load.  For limits on quantities, please see our website at

Electronics (TV’s, computers, monitors, microwaves, printers, fax machines, stereos, etc…) must also be taken to the transfer station at 1108 East Ashley for free disposal with proof of residency. 

Yard waste is not included in the spring cleanup, but will be picked up on the regular monthly schedule.  Please call 479-524-8512 for more information. 



Mobile Vending Proposed Amended Ordinance

The City of Siloam Springs is considering updating Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code with respects to mobile food vending units, also referred to as “food trucks”.

Business License Renewal

Notices have been mailed from the City Clerk’s Office for your 2015 Business Privilege License.

If your address has changed or you have relocated your place of business, please notify our office. If you have a new business located in Siloam Springs and were unaware of the license requirement, please contact our office for an application.

A business privilege license shall be required of any person who shall engage in, carry on or follow any trade, business, profession, vocation or calling, within the corporate limits of the City, unless exempt by state/city law (Siloam Springs Ordinance No. 13-19). There is no yearly renewal fee, but late fees are assessed if not renewed by October 15, 2014.

Siloam Springs Kayak Park

The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is a nearly $2 million investment from the Walton Family Foundation. It offers 600 feet of engineered river, which expanded and created two distinct rapids. There are also fully accessible paved trails along the Illinois River, picnic tables, a climbing boulder for kids, changing rooms and a family swim area with riverside seating. Directions to the SSKP

From Highway 412 in Siloam Springs, take Lincoln Street (Highway 59 South) south 1.9 miles to Devor  Road. Take a left on Devor Road and travel .4 miles to Fisher Ford Road. Turn right on Fisher Ford Road and follow it all the way to the park. Address is 19253 Fisher Ford Road.

Board of Directors Oppose Possible Millage for EMS Service to Rural Benton County

CitySafe Presents: Emergency Planning

CitySafe is a public safety initiative to help prepare the residents of Siloam Springs for all types of emergencies. We want this city to be the safest community possible with a resilient citizenry. The CitySafe initiative will educate residents, businesses and visitors about preparedness and planning.

Tornados, straight-line winds, train derailments, natural disasters and civil unrest are all possible in Siloam Springs. We recommend you start with a plan and then practice your emergency plan with your family. Here are some ideas to get you started.
