Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement/Animal Services Officers promote and maintain a safe and clean environment for our citizens by enforcing the City's Municipal Code requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
  •  Health hazards
  • Illegal dumping
  • Improper storage
  • Inoperable, unlicensed or abandoned vehicles
  • Nuisance abatement

  • Safety issues
  • Stagnant water
  • Tall grass / weeds
  • Trash / debris
  • Unsafe structures
  • Unsanitary conditions

Patrolling the City
Code Enforcement pro-actively patrols the city responding to violations as they are viewed. The Officer also responds to citizen-generated complaints. Emphasis is placed on the resolution of all violations within a timely manner.

The vision of Code Enforcement is to work in a partnership with the Citizens of Siloam Springs in an effort to keep our city a beautiful place to live while in a rapidly evolving state of progress.
